Blue Heron in my pond 5-13-10

Ever since spring has hit, Makai has enjoyed looking out his window into our back yard and watching the birds. The other day we were very lucky to see the local blue heron come and visit our pond. The picture with the blinds is the window in my craft room. I love being able to experience every little bit of nature we have close to home. Not too mention that same afternoon I spotted a mom with her ducklings. We always say the males but never the female and wondered where she was. She was hiding in the brush at the edge of the pond the whole time! I just love it :) Oh yeah and the rabbits.

Same old, Same old

I guess our life has been pretty quiet. Al has been sick with a cough for about 2 weeks now and just can't kick it. He blames me for it, because I put the humidifier on? I don't know... it might have been because we all were sick and he got it from us. But thats just my opinion... :) wink for you honey...:) I'm sure I will have a lot to share very soon with both of the kids birthdays coming up. Tomorrow Laila and her friends are going to chuck e cheese and then sleeping over... should be a fun day/night :) I will let you all know the details ASAP.

Today I had MOPS and it made me really think about adoption, I think I could do it oneday. If I could change the life of one child it would make the world of a difference for that child. But on ly time will tell where our life will take us! Just something to keep in mind. If it's not adoption I have a lot of plans to help those less fortunate then we. I never thought in my life I could be so blessed with a great husband, children, family and friends. Why not Share? !

Wednesday MOMS member meeting, we had a lady come do a demo class of kindermusiq it was OK but she talked too much! Here is a picture of Makai and Angelica before we started... they have a such a great friendship... They well be sooo embarrassed when they get older.

Where does the time go?

It seems like forever since I last posted. After our trip to CT, it was still spring break and then I had a craft show to prepare for. Just this crazy life we have... always something to do or something due. Last night Al asked me to Volunteer on his board for NBMBA. Really I am all volunteered out! lol It would be just one more due date to work towards and stress about.

So back to fun the things in life tonight Laila has her first Father/Daughter dance which I'm so excited about. They asked me to take paparazzi pictures which makes me so happy that way I can get great pictures of them!!! :) Which of course I will post! Hopefully tomorrow.

Camp Minikani Maple Syrup Fest 03-28-10
